What kind of therapy is Tender Hearts?
In a nutshell; each therapy session works towards you feeling more clarity, confidence, and calm so that you can be more content, fulfilled, and proactive in your life, rather than going through the motions and struggling to move through any stuckness you are in right now.
As a therapist, I'm a big believer in blending different humanistic approaches to create a more holistic healing experience, unique to each individual client.
This includes Person-Centred Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Existentialism, Focusing, Somatic Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Third-Wave CBT, Trauma-Informed, and Psychoeducation.
I believe that your well-being is a sum of all your parts - your physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, sociocultural, and family history all play a role in how you're feeling at this very moment.
Together, we'll create a collaborative space where we can explore your thoughts and feelings without the fear of being rejected or criticised. My approach to therapy values your subjective experience, and above all, your inherent worth and dignity as a human being.
I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and adhere to their ethical frameworks. I am in regular supervision and take responsibility for my continued professional development.

I understand that finding a fulfilling, stress-free balance in life can feel almost impossible in our fast-paced world, where we often live outside our natural cycles and rhythms.
Our busy lives, constant demands, and perceived social pressure from social media can leave us disconnected from our body's inherent wisdom, including the natural flow of the menstrual cycle.
This is why I include menstrual cycle awareness/ cyclical living/ somatic therapy within my therapy approach, helping you reconnect with your body’s natural ebb and flow, creating space for more harmony and balance. Redirecting away from the doom scrolling, and back to our own inner compass of what's really important to us.
Through online therapy, we can work together to embrace your whole self and find ways to navigate life's challenges with more ease and joy. The flexibility of online therapy offers a convenient, affordable, and private way to access the support you need. By working with, rather than against, the natural rhythms of life, we can create a more fulfilling and balanced way of being in the world.

How Sessions work:

50-minute weekly or fortnightly sessions online via Google Meet video call.

Sessions are open-ended, meaning that we can continue with therapy for as long as you feel it is needed.

No minimum number of sessions is required, and clients can end therapy at any time.

1-1 tailored Psychotherapy for you and your needs, held in a warm, compassionate, and gentle confidential space.
